For some, it’s a tampon. For others, it’s a luxury.

 
When a girl doesn’t have access to pads or tampons, it affects far more than her personal hygiene. According to the University of Michigan School of Public Health, one in five girls across the globe miss school because they lack menstrual products. A Harvard University study cited that 22 million women in the U.S. alone cannot afford period products.

Lauren Grace Perry started DUO to raise awareness for period poverty and entrusted me with the development of the brand identity. The brand exhibits femininity and unity to carry forward DUO’s mission, and the fun brand voice works to combat the stigma surrounding periods.
